Accessing Mental Health Services at GRH Emergency For mental health emergencies, please proceed directly to Grand River Hospital's emergency department or an emergency department in the city in which you live. Urgent and Non-Urgent For urgent or non-urgent hospital-based mental health services from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. please have your family physician, walk-in clinic, counselling agency, case manager, etc., contact mental health triage through phone number 519-749-4310, or request that they fax a referral to 519-749-4307 for adult patients and 519-749-4301 for children and adolescents. If you do not have a family physician, you may access support through an urgent care centre, local counseling agency, community health centre, community mental health association or other mental health service provider. Any of these providers or agencies can contact our triage services at 519-749-4310 after completing a preliminary assessment.
