Fracture Clinic

The fracture clinic is located on Floor 2 of Grand River Hospital’s KW site. Open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., orthopedic and plastic surgeons have scheduled clinic times during these hours. We work closely with the emergency and diagnostic imaging departments to provide care to our patients. Clinic appointments may be delayed by high numbers of patients whose injuries require immediate care and follow-up. Please be prepared to spend additional time at the clinic, should your appointment time be delayed.

Patients can be referred to the fracture clinic for treatment through a physician.

Clinic Services

• Casting -- plaster and fiberglass
• Splinting and specialized splints
• Some dressing changes and removal of stitches and staples
• Fracture setting and pinning
• Removal of other hardware after surgery
• Injections / aspirations (at an additional cost)
