Inpatient Surgery Grand River Hospital offers services in orthopedics, gynecology, cancer, plastic and reconstructive, and emergency surgery as well as a wide variety of general surgeries. Some patients, but not all, may see a pain specialist after their procedure. If you are experiencing pain after your surgery, please speak with a member of your care team. Your surgeon’s orders and your care plan are combined to help you recover quickly and safely. The surgical team works together to provide you with the best care possible, which often includes the involvement of community supports. If it is not possible for you to return home, a Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) provider will meet with you and your family to determine the best interim, or long-term care plans for you. |
