K-W Health Centre including Grand River Regional Cancer Centre - 835 King St. West

Parking is available for patients and visitors in the following areas:

  • Parking garage, drivers must take a ticket to enter the garage and take the ticket with them for payment. Rates are $2 per half hour to a maximum of $7 per day and payment can be made through the following methods:
    • At the designated payment machine located in the elevator bay on the first level of the parking garage when they are ready to leave. When the ticket is inserted into the machine, an automated voice and a display screen will indicate the amount owing which can be paid by credit card, coins and/or bills. Change is dispensed automatically and receipts can be requested and issued directly through the "receipt request" button. Once payment has been made, drivers must take back their ticket to insert into the machine at the exit gate.
    • Drivers may also choose to pay for parking from their vehicle at the machines located at the garage's exit by inserting their ticket and paying the amount owing by credit card.
  • 'Pay and Display'; $2.00 per half hour. Located for short-term parking throughout the site the Pay and Display units accept $1 and $2 coins, quarters, dimes, nickels and credit cards.
  • Parking is available across King street at the city's Rotary Lot from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. for $2.00 per hour with a daily maximum of $7.00.
  • Long term reduced visitor parking, available to family and friends who visit patients admitted as an inpatient for a stay exceeding 7 days. These cards allow the user unlimited exits from the on-site parking lot and are available through the cashier's office at K-W Health Centre.

Reserved parking is available for renal dialysis and outpatient oncology patients on the first floor of the parking garage by permit only. Permits may be obtained through the corresponding department. Handicapped accessible parking is available at the metered parking spaces near the entrance to the main lobby and on the first floor of the garage.

Freeport Health Centre - 3570 King St. East

Parking is available for patients and visitors in the following areas:

  • Parking lot, drivers must take a ticket to enter the lot and insert the ticket at the exit gate when they are ready to leave to pay the amount owing with coins and bills. Rates are $2 per half hour to a maximum of $7 per day.
  • Parking meters $2.00 per half hour. Located on the left hand side as you enter the grounds the meters accept $1 and $2 coins, quarters, dimes, and nickels.
  • Long term reduced visitor parking, available to family and friends who visit patients admitted as an inpatient for a stay exceeding 7 days. These cards allow the user unlimited exits from the on-site parking lot and are available through the security department at Freeport Health Centre.

Handicapped accessible parking is available at the metered parking spaces near the entrance to the main lobby and in the main parking lot. Special permits are available through security for patients who require accessible parking but have not yet received an official provincial permit.
