Cancer Surgery at Grand River Hospital

As home to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, Grand River Hospital provides cancer surgery as part of our complement of surgical services. We provide 24 hour operating room availability throughout the year to ensure that the needs of our community are met.

for All Cancer Surgeries.

for Breast Cancer Surgeries. Breast cancer surgeries are for breast or mammary gland cancers.

for Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgeries. Gastrointestinal cancer surgeries are for cancers of the digestive system. These cancers include, but are not limited to, cancers of the bowel, stomach, small intestine, spleen, lymph nodes, rectum, anus and colon.

for Genitourinary Cancer Surgeries. Genitourinary cancer surgeries are for cancers of the urinary tract. These cancers include, but are not limited to, cancers of the bladder, kidney, penis, prostate, renal pelvis, ureter, testes and urethra.

for Prostate Surgeries. Prostate cancer surgeries are for cancers of the prostate

for Gynecological Cancer Surgeries. Gynecological cancer surgeries are for cancers of the female reproductive system. These cancers include, but are not limited to, cervical, endometrial, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancers.

for Head and Neck Cancer Surgeries. Head and Neck cancer surgeries are for cancers of the head and neck region. These cancers include, but are not limited to, malignancies of the mouth, lips and oral cavity, ears, nose, neck, thyroid and parathyroid.

for Thyroid and Endocrine Surgeries. Thyroid and Endocrine cancer surgeries are for thyroid and parathyroid cancers.

for Hepatobiliary Cancer Surgeries. Hepatobiliary cancer surgeries are for cancers of the liver, gallbladder, head of the pancreas and bile ducts.

for Musculoskeletal Cancer Surgeries. Musculoskeletal cancer surgeries are for cancers of the bones and muscles.

for Ophthalmologic Cancer Surgeries. Ophthalmologic cancer surgeries are for cancers of the eyes.
