Joint Replacement Surgery at Grand River Hospital Grand River Hospital is the centre for all after hours emergency surgery (with the exception of ophthalmology and cardiac) for Kitchener-Waterloo. We provide 24 hour operating room availability throughout the year to ensure that the needs of our community are met. We are committed to working with the Ontario government in pursuit of its goal to transform wait times for key medical services. As part of this commitment, we will continue to keep you informed of current wait times for joint surgery at Grand River Hospital.
